International training programme

Deep facial anatomy and cadaver dissection as the basis of safe injectable practice

A two-day programme held at partner anatomical centres in Europe.

About the course

Anatomy as the needle sees it

The course is built around the layered anatomy of the face: skin, subcutaneous fat, SMAS, muscles, ligaments, periosteum. Every zone is worked through from the surface inwards — in the order a needle or cannula passes through it.

Vascular structures get their own focus: the topography of arteries and veins, anastomotic zones, individual variability. Knowing exactly where a vessel runs is the basis of prevention and of recognising complications early.

Day one's theory carries into day two's dissection: safe planes of injection, control of instrument depth, the mechanics of complications and emergency algorithms — on real anatomical material.

Who it is for

A course for practising professionals

Aesthetic medicine physicians
Dermatologists
Plastic surgeons
Maxillofacial surgeons
Dentists
Medically qualified cosmetologists
Nursing and allied health professionals
in accordance with the law of their own country

Learning outcomes

After the course you will be able to

Identify the safe planes of injection for every zone of the face

Recognise the early signs of vascular complications and apply the emergency algorithm

Match an injection protocol to the layered anatomy of the individual patient

Programme

Two days — from theory to dissection

09:00
Layered anatomy of the three facial thirds

Upper, middle and lower thirds: layers, ligaments, fat compartments.

11:00
Topography of vessels and nerves. Danger zones

Arterial and venous trunks, anastomotic zones, individual variability.

13:00
Lunch

Lunch for participants is served at the restaurant on the campus.

15:00
Safe injection levels for needle and cannula

Choosing the plane and the instrument for each zone. Clinical case review.

17:30
Vascular complications and emergency algorithms

Early signs, the emergency protocol, questions and answers.
